The Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille is offering visitors a sensorial approach to the museum’s artworks, with a new Open Museum dedicated to the dialogue between music and the collections.

For the sixth edition of the Open Museum, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille invites audiences to listen to music that has inspired art — that internal music of the mind’ that has influenced paintings, sculptures and even the ambience in a museum gallery.

Enjoy an eclectic musical selection encompassing classical, jazz, rock, pop, rap, world music and soul, curated by Alexandre Bloch, Musical Director of the Orchestre National de Lille and Régis Cotentin, curator of the Open Museum.

A new sound design experience that immerses participants in the artworks, so come with your ears wide open !
