The “Collaborative City” Maison POC explores, through “design shows”, a hundred local and international projects in order to discover emerging visions of sharing, mutual aid and cooperation…
How can design facilitate collaboration within the city to trigger supportive, sustainable and democratic lifestyles ?
Modern lifestyles are focused solely on the individual, solutions are increasingly personalised, algorithms are becoming more and more targeted, mentalities tend to be individualistic, and today, socialisation is done remotely…
The challenge of Collaborative City’s development is to return to the collective, regenerate common goods, rebuild community lifestyles, encourage mutual aid…
Maison POC is as much an animated tour as it is a lively forum for exchange and debate. Visitors conduct an investigation to discover evidence of a collaborative future.
In line with the hundred POC from the territory, it will welcome DESIS labs of design schools and universities from all around the world, the design of making and living together from European cities within URBACT networks. It will explore how the current health crisis is in fact redesigning our world and how design plays an active role in this.
This “non-expo-action” will take shape online in May 2020 and will continue to grow through workshops, meetings, sessions, interactions and events etc. from September 2020 on.
