The programme includes
themed itineraries, meetings with designers, festive, urban and educational events, and more.
Over 500 ideas for projects put forward by local authorities, companies, universities, cultural venues and charities, supported by designers.

Since 2008, the World Design Organization (WDO) has awarded the title of World Design Capital© every two years in recognition of the innovative application of design by a city or metropolis to drive its economic, social, cultural and environmental development.
In 2020, Lille Metropole is taking up the mantle from its predecessors Turin, Seoul, Helsinki, Cape Town, Taipei and Mexico City.
